Neutrality

Efalia Engage is a non-partisan organization. Although we work daily with elected officials and members of civil society, we are not affiliated with any political party. We act as a neutral entity and believe that every idea deserves to be raised in the context of democratic debate or collective intelligence exercises.

Responsibility

We are committed to ensuring the proper functioning of our platform to facilitate meaningful exchanges. We pledge to resolve technical issues promptly, prevent any malicious manipulation of our platform, and protect our users’ data.

Integrity

Since 2019, our ESUS accreditation has bound us to the following commitments:

Pursuing social utility as a primary objective
Demonstrating that the pursuit of social utility has an impact on financial results or business profitability
Maintaining a fair wage policy, adhering to two conditions: the average compensation, including bonuses, of the five highest-paid employees or executives must not exceed a cap set at seven times the minimum wage, and the highest-paid employee’s compensation must not exceed a cap set at ten times the minimum wage
The company’s capital shares must not be traded on a financial market.

We guarantee our users an honest management of the platform, aligned with its purpose: rebuilding users’ trust by leveraging their collective intelligence and reinventing organizational decision-making in the 21st century.

To ensure a constructive and respectful debate, we ask all users to adhere to the ethical principles outlined below.

Respect

On the platform, everyone can express themselves by proposing ideas, voting, or answering questions. We ask users to respect the opinions shared on the platform. Tolerance is key to the exchange of ideas. Therefore, we encourage users to adopt a kind and non-accusatory tone, aiming for the collective good.

Honesty

We ask users to express themselves truthfully to allow organizations to perform their duties effectively and to ensure a calm dialogue among all platform participants.

Responsibility

Each user is responsible for their statements on the platform, and the entire community is committed to making this a true space for dialogue and cooperation. Users are expected to engage constructively by proposing concrete, useful, and public-interest ideas.

For Organizations

To ensure a constructive and respectful debate, we ask organizations to adhere to the ethical principles outlined below.

Listening to All Users

The organization commits to considering all contributions equally and with the same importance, regardless of the authors.

Decision Transparency

The organization must be transparent about the expected impact and the processing of contributions. Justification is required for moderating any statements on the platform. Users will be provided with follow-up in the form of a summary or a report.

Proper Use of the Platform

The platform is designed to foster trust among stakeholders and encourage collective intelligence within organizations. As such, the organization must refrain from any actions that seek to gain personal support or sympathy rather than serving the collective interest.
