Each project allows you to position yourself on the contributions proposed on the platform. Whether in a positive or negative way, you can indicate if you support an idea.
The impact of your vote can vary depending on the type of consultation:
- Decisive: as in a participatory budget, where the vote has a determining weight.
- Statistical: for example, for a call for contributions where votes are recorded as soon as ideas are submitted.
- Influential: votes influence the decision but are not solely decisive.
What are the different voting modes?
There are three voting modes during consultations:
- Single support: This mode allows you to exclusively support the projects you like, without being able to vote against other ideas.
- For or against: In this mode, you position yourself either in favor or against all projects, based on your opinion of each one.
- Vote based on a budget: The administrator defines a budget for the submitted projects. You must choose the projects you support while respecting the budget limit. It is not necessary to spend the entire available budget.
How to vote for a contribution?
The voting process can vary depending on how contributions are displayed and the specific conditions of each consultation. Here’s an overview of how you can vote:
List Display
If the contributions are listed one after the other:
- If the consultation only allows you to support, you can vote directly from the consultation page or from each contribution page.
- In consultations where the vote is "For or Against", you will need to open the contribution page to see the options
I support
and I do not support
.

Carousel Display
If the contributions appear one by one:
- You can vote directly from the consultation page. If you want to know more about a contribution, you can click on it, view its details, and vote.

Map Display
If the contributions are located on a map:
- Click on the title of the contribution to access its details, then vote based on the available options.

Voting Limit
If the vote is limited by a maximum number of supports or an allocated budget:
- An indicator shows you the remaining number of votes. If you exceed the voting limit or the allocated budget, you will no longer be able to vote for other contributions and will need to revisit your choices by canceling a previous vote in order to support a new one.

Minimum Vote Requirement
If the consultation requires a minimum number of votes:
- An indicator shows you the remaining number of votes to validate your vote. If you do not meet the required minimum number of votes, your vote may not be counted.

How to change my vote?
You can modify your vote at any time until the voting phase ends. Simply click the vote button again.

If you’ve already voted for the contribution, the button will be colored.

If you haven’t voted for a project, the button will be empty.
You can also see your votes by clicking on Show only my votes
.
