In the spirit of collective intelligence, the platform allows each user to report inappropriate, hateful, violent, off-topic, or promotional content in just a few clicks. This could be a contribution or a comment written by other users. Reporting is a key tool to maintain a respectful discussion space that adheres to the community guidelines.

Reporting is based on several criteria defined in accordance with our Terms of Use and our Ethical charter.

Deleting content is an important action. Ensure you justify your decision based on your moderation policy and/or your Terms of Use.

Why report content?

If you spot inappropriate content on the platform, whether it's a contribution or a comment, you can report it for review by the administrators. Reporting helps maintain a respectful environment that aligns with the platform’s rules.

Reports are handled based on the following categories:

• Inappropriate content
• Hateful or violent content
• Questionable or promotional content
• Intellectual property violations
• Misinformation
• Off-topic content
• Other (please specify)

Efalia Engage, as a trusted third party, is also informed of reports to ensure rigorous follow-up of moderation across all platforms.

How to report content?

Report a contribution

1. Go to the concerned contribution.
2. Click on the three dots at the top right of the page.
3. Select the Report option.

Report a comment

1. Go to the concerned comment.
2. Click on the three dots at the top right of the comment.
3. Select the Report option.

Complete the report form

1. Select the reason for your report from the provided categories.
2. Add a comment to explain the reason for your report in more detail.
3. Click Submit.

What happens after a report?

Reports are forwarded to the platform administrators and Efalia Engage, who review them within 24 to 48 hours.

• If the content is moderated: The content creator, the space administrators, and users who interacted with the content will receive a notification confirming its deletion.
• If the content is not moderated: Only the reporter will be informed of the reasons for keeping the content.
