Consultation is an effective approach to involve your community in decision-making to suggest ideas, react to directions, and co-create an action plan on topics of public interest such as cleanliness, ecological transition, or CSR. Unlike participatory budgeting, it is based on a free vote, without budgetary constraints, and can be used for both collaborative or consultative consultations.

This format is ideal for gathering informed opinions, measuring support for an idea, or co-developing projects with your audience.

The Collaborative decisions model consists of four key steps:

  1. Submission: either collaborative, where participants submit their own contributions, or consultative, where the administrator defines proposals.
  2. Analysis: feasibility check of ideas before they are submitted for voting.
  3. Voting: selection of projects by participants.
  4. Results: announcement of final decisions

This guide presents step-by-step success factors for engaging your community and effectively structuring your consultation on the platform.
