The appearance of your consultation plays an important role in the user experience. A clear display and effective search options help participants easily find the contributions that interest them. This guide explains how to customize the display and filters of your consultation.
For more information on navigating within a consultation, refer to the article Search for content.
Choose the contribution display most suited to your consultation's goal:
Offers the best visibility of all contributions. Ideal for submission phases, participatory budgets, consultations, and continuous calls for contributions. You can choose to display or not the contribution image in the list.
Encourages users to react to contributions before submitting a new one. The submission invitation appears after viewing 5 contributions or once the user has browsed all existing contributions. This format is particularly suited for presenting scenarios with ‘For’ or ‘Against’ votes, when submissions are closed to users.
Displays contributions located on an interactive map. Contributions may be grouped into 'clusters' if there are too many. This format is ideal for reports on a territory or proposals for urban planning. A ‘Location’ field must be mandatory for submission for contributions to appear on the map.
You can customize the map of your consultation by adding contextual elements (points of interest, geographic areas, etc.) via a GeoJSON file.
Facilitate users' search by adding filters based on the information collected in your submission form. Filters work only with single-choice or multiple-choice questions.
The filter uses the label of your question, and the filter options take the response options.
