Comments on a digital participation platform are not just simple exchanges: they create a constructive dialogue between users and administrators. With this feature, you can publicly interact with contributions and provide clarifications or appropriate responses.
What Is the Purpose of Comments?
Comments are essential for enriching discussions on your platform. They allow you to:
- Strengthen your presence as an administrator: Make your interventions stand out with a visual distinction.
- Inform and respond publicly: Share updates on a project’s progress or answer users’ questions.
- Complement a status change: Accompany your modifications (e.g., changing from “In Progress” to “Accepted”) with a clear explanatory comment.
- Provide constructive feedback: Offer relevant feedback on a contribution to encourage or guide participants.
For private discussions, use private messaging instead. See Communicate with a project owner.
How to Write a Comment?
- To comment on a contribution, go directly to the contribution page.
- At the bottom of the page, you will find the comment section under the contribution. Write your comment and click
Post
.

- If you are an administrator or manager, your comment will appear with a colored box on the left, clearly identifying your role.
